cruisin’

Posted on

One of my favorite things to do is cruise the beach on my sweet pink bike. Nothing like the sun on your face, wind in your hair, and ocean waves in your ears. I picked mine up at Manny’s Low Rider Bicycles in Venice, CA.

J’adore! Screen printed on organic cotton, these magic green bunnies are sure to add some sparkle to your Easter table setting. Available at Oh, Little Rabbit.

pretty little leaf

Spring is not quite here on the west coast. Frost still covers the rooftops some mornings, so I am trying to inject a little spring cheer around here! This week I am on the hunt for fabulous vintage table linens. This delightful printed table cloth is my absolute favorite! Have a look for more at Mad Mrs. Rochester’s Etsy Shop. Click here!

modern with a little history

Mix the old with the new for something truly glamorous. Designer Maloos Anvarian makes me swoon with this gilded Louis XVI settee, with inlays of plexiglass. Befitting for a contemporary modern environment, or nestled in an antique filled home. Available at dwminteriors.com.

Recycled steel turned art? YES. I am loving the work by Colin MacRae. Visit his website here. Thank you to Jule Baanstra for the photo.

budget beautiful

A beautiful example from warymeyers.com of how low budget doesn’t have to mean low impact. Your local thrift store and flea markets are your best friends when working with a smaller pocket book.

color me happy

This spring, why not try some bold color choices? Be daring. Find hues that really lift your spirit! A few new textiles here and there for those of you that are still shy to try this trend, or a new face lift for your sofa for those that are daring enough to embrace something truly vibrant!

upcycled sheer curtains

I’m a big fan of ‘upcycling’. Got something lying around the house that you love, but no longer use? Re-purpose it and make it into something fabulous; like the sheers we used on A Home At The End Of The World. A glorious mix of color, pattern and texture!
