Growing up the daughter of an artist, I discovered my creative side early in life. One of my happiest memories was receiving a Crayola interior design kit, and using it to redecorate my bedroom; I was 9. Sneaking into my father’s art studio on the second floor of our house was a weekly adventure for me. Upon graduating from the prestigious Arts Program at Toronto’s Central Tech high school, I continued my education at George Brown College.
While taking interior design at school, I was offered the opportunity to work on my first film. I relished the experience, realizing quickly that set decorating in the film industry was for me, and I have been employed by it ever since.
I’ve lived in both Toronto and Vancouver, and am currently residing in New York City. I’m a member of both IATSE Local 873 Toronto, and IATSE Local 891 Vancouver. Both a Canadian and European Passport keep me well traveled.
